No personal time today. I had to do 50 push ups for not having my boots shined. They looked shiny to me. Oh well.
We had first aid training. I got to lay motionless for 10 minutes on the grass playing the victim. That’s my kind of job. We had bayonette training. That’s when you attach a knife to the end of the rifle and yell KILL!! as we do movements. I got lots of aggression out.
I got mail today!! Cendy, Dejan, and my parents wrote me. I’m happy. I’ll reply individually on Sunday. I can’t wait to come home, but I’m actually having fun.
Wanna know what I learned today?
Drill Sergeant: “What makes grass grow?”
Privates: “Blood, blood. Bright red blood!!!”
Violent, isn’t it? I miss you all. See you in a month and a half.
