Nebraska is known for more than just corn. Located in America's heartland, Nebraska also features numerous cultural, historical and natural attractions. Whether following the footsteps of Louis and Clark, sampling wine at the state's numerous vineyards, or visiting Nebraska's various state parks, adventure awaits. People who consider college in Nebraska have many options. The University of Nebraska and Creighton are perhaps the most well known.
Located in the southeast corner of the state, Omaha and Lincoln are the largest cities in Nebraska. The climate in Nebraska varies considerably with more snow and winter-like weather in the northwest quadrant of the state. Although there are no Army bases in Nebraska, the heartland offers an attractive location for Army members considering college in Nebraska.
