well-baby examination
Regular appointments with a medical professional to monitor a baby's health and development. Information covered includes the baby's height, weight, immunizations, developmental guidelines, screening tests, safety, and nutrition.

whooping cough
Nearly eradicated by the DPT vaccine, whooping cough is a highly contagious bacterial infection that causes violent coughing, low-grade fever, and irritability.

witch's milk
Milk produced by a newborn's breasts sometimes at birth. A hormonal condition that disappears after a few days.
