Originally called Camp Little Silver, Fort Monmouth sits a few miles from the Jersey shore, 40 miles south of Newark. Supporting a unique community of 40,000 members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Reserves including employees, contractors, active military and family members, and retirees, Fort Monmouth offers services and amenities including:
