Schools in Kansas Near Fort Leavenworth

Fort Leavenworth is the oldest Army post west of the Mississippi River, with about 3,400 active military residents plus families and civilian employees. It is noted for its campus and hometown character, and is home to the U.S. Army's Combined Arms Center. The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation division offers community services and activities including fitness programs, music lessons, art classes, dance lessons, singles mingle events, hunting, camping, and more.
