Home to the 1344th Transport Company and Army Reserve Personnel Command, the Charles M. Price Support Center contains 1,200 active duty personnel along with 1,000 Reservists and civilians. If you want to explore life away from the base, then you only have to journey seven miles west to reach St. Louis. There you can ride to the top of the 630-foot Gateway Arch, explore the 1,300 acres of Forest Park, or get some culture at the Art Museum. As the epicenter of American beers, you also have the opportunity to visit the Anheuser-Busch brewery (as long as you're over 21!) along with numerous microbreweries and brewpubs.
