Superman was flyin’ real high,

Flyin’ through that Metropolis sky,
(I didn’t know)
Lex Luthor was committin’ a crime
(I didn’t know)
Now Superman’s got him doin hard time,
(I didn’t knoooooow, I didn’t know, I didn’t know)

Batman was chillin’ all night,
(I didn’t know)
‘Till Mr. Freeze had to pick a fight,
(I didn’t know)
The Batmobile was there in a flash,
(I didn’t know)
Now Mr. Freeze is out on his… yeah,
(I didn’t knoooooow, I didn’t know, I didn’t know)

Spiderman and old Aunt May,
(I didn’t know)
Were walkin’ through the mall one day,
(I didn’t know)
Spidey felt his spider sense,
(I didn’t know)
Then Venom crashed down on their heads,
(I didn’t knoooooow, I didn’t know, I didn’t know)

Spidey had to act there and then,
(I didn’t know)
Or Aunt May would join Uncle Ben,
(I didn’t know)
Spidey kicked Venom in the jaw,
(I didn’t know)
Now Venom eats his food through a straw,
(I didn’t knoooooow, I didn’t know, I didn’t know)

In brightest day, in darkest night,
(I didn’t know)
No evil shall escape my sight,
(I didn’t know)
Let those who worship evil’s might,
(I didn’t know)
Beware my power, Green Lantern’s light,
