Reenlistment Window - Now 24 Months
Reenlistment Window opens to 24-months prior to ETS.

Effective 12 May 2005, the "Reenlistment Eligibility Window" was increased from 12 months priot to ETS to 24 months prior to ETS.

Soldiers may reenlist for Option 1, Regular Army (Needs of the Army) ONLY between 24 and 18 months prior to ETS. Soldiers begin receiving reenlistment options at 18 months prior to ETS.

As before, the "Reenlistment Eligibility Window" still closes at 3 months prior to ETS.
